Enrolling Energy Shield Congregations

Comments Off on Enrolling Energy Shield Congregations

Eighteen Energy Shield synagogues have been selected for a weekend program that will explore Jewish teachings on energy, educate children, teens and adults, share ways to save energy in the synagogue and at home, and offer advocacy opportunities. Participating synagogues will receive a guide that includes resources from Green-Faith and COEJL.

The effort is a partnership between Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs, Women’s League for Conservative Judaism, the Rabbinical Assembly, and United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism together with GreenFaith, a national interfaith environmental group.
